This colonial home craved an update to the modern mid-century style of the owners. We brought in a warm and inviting ambiance to the home with an earthy color palette.
The great room has a custom sofa from Interior Define, accent furniture from West Elm, a warm marble rug from Jaipur Living and geometric pillows and artwork from Society 6. At Preamble Arts, sustainability means reusing any furniture pieces that the client has rather than buying more new furniture. We repurposed several pieces that fit the mid-century look in the redesign.
In the breakfast nook, we paired a rustic breakfast table with authentic nail holes from Four Hands paired with comfortable wishbone shaped dining chairs and a Crystorama popping sputnik chandelier for that look. Throughout the house, we brought the walls to life with modern abstract artwork.
In the guest bedroom, we took it to another level, with a gorgeous headboard that shines out a dreamy comfort paired with noir and gold masculine table lamps, and Nikki Chu pillows finish the look with the perfect color pairing.
Sit back and enjoy your Chardonnay with its smooth, fruity notes.
