The culmination of a style that calls for the comforts of a farmhouse, but has the personality of a trend setter is what we called Glamorous Comforts. The remodel included a kitchen refresher that began with new crisp white shaker doors and newly added showcase cabinets to the very top. For that extra eye-catching appeal, we painted accent areas like the hood, island and some of the cafe/bar space with Benjamin Moore’s Cheating Heart. Finishing touches included elegant brass hardware, classic marble trays, brass potted plants, and the insanely divine Hotel Collection’s fragrance.
In the basement renovations, Jonathan Adler’s chandelier is the focal point to this swanky lounge for the adults to hang out in. A chevron patterned wood paneled accent wall frames the inviting fireplace. Bold navy blue sofa, soft pastel pink shell chairs, a cosmic Nourison rug makes this a lounge for the perfect drink. A gray on gray theme integrates various textures from shiny glass tiles, smooth gray cabinets to textured gray ledger stone on the island. The bold geometric patterned wallpaper from Graham & Brown adds the final finishing touch to the moody gray bar.
